Generating commentary is one of the most difficult tasks for students because they are being asked to devise original thoughts. The “Web-off-the-Word” chart, affectionately known as the “WOW” chart helps students to develop vocabulary, understand tone, and combine ideas into insightful analysis. Follow along as Dr. Louis “thinks aloud,” asking questions of the text and of herself to generate analysis about this short story.
