Once students complete the T-Chart, the WOW Chart, and the WOTS chart, they have their first draft completed. Now, the time has come to do what all good writers do, and that is edit, revise, and proof. The Shaping Sheet is the best place for teachers to instruct students on grammar, usage, and syntactical rules. In addition, revising helps a written piece flow smoothly – with transitional words and thoughts; logical thinking; and varied sentence structures.
